Poll: Most Saudis oppose al-Qaeda, support US

A bit of refreshing news for those lost in a sea of pessimism.  A recent poll in Saudi Arabia found that only 10% supported al-Qaeda, while 40% viewed America favorably.  Moreover, 69% support close ties between Riyadh and Washington.  I don’t know why some choose to rely on the notion that the world hates us to further their political agenda.  Shouldn’t we rather do what is right, not necessarily what is popular?
